Multiple Apple Watches Showing in Health App

I paired my Apple watch to my personal iPhone then migrated to my work phone and back. Now I show two iPhones in the Apple health app on my personal iPhone. How do I delete the old record?

Apple Watch, watchOS 2.2, Pairing w/iPhone 6+ Running 9.3.4

... how exactly is this a solved issue. The watch showing up twice means twice the data being shown on the watch... this makes the watch a much less usable fitness tracker. Is there an expected fix date, or work cycle that this is being looked at? Also, can you tell us the priority so we can set our expectations on a real fix? I paired my watch with only he one phone, and it's there twice, this is EXTREMELY aggravating for such expensive hardware.

The OP asked a question, which was answered. The OP then marked the question as answered / Solved accordingly.

Each time the watch is recognised as a new, active data source, it is listed separately in the Health app, but that does not result in any double-counting of data.

Each watch entry in the sources list is associated only with the data contributed by "that" watch.

Also, the Health app aggregates data from Apple Watch, iPhone and any other sources. Whenever more than one device has contributed the same type of data for the same period (for example, steps tracked by both the iPhone and watch), only one source is used by the app when reporting results.

I'm afraid that no-one here can tell you anything about Apple's unannounced plans.

You are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based technical support community.

If you would like to send feedback (including a feature request) to Apple, you can do so here:

Further to my original reply:

Under the latest version of iOS, it is possible to remove sources and their associated data from the Health app.

On your iPhone, in the Health app, go to: Sources (tab) > tap on a source > at the bottom of the next screen, tap on Delete All Data from <name of watch>.

However, note that - as the button indicates - this will delete all data that is associated with the watch, so you may prefer not to do this.
